It’s true! Katy Perry will appear on The Simpsons!

Katy will make a guest appearance on their Christmas-themed episode, but instead of becoming animated, she will appear in live action with the Simpsons characters as puppets.

Executive producer Al Jeansaid in a statement:

“In the wake of Elmo’s terrible betrayal, the Simpsons puppets wish to announce they stand felt-shoulder-to-shoulder with Katy Perry.”

The episode will air on Fox, December 5th
