    I have taken the pledge to be straight but now narrow because I believe that everyone should be accepted for who they are. They shouldn't be bullied or picked on or made fun of because they are gay, bi, trans, or whatever they may be. Who cares what other people think? Just be yourself for yourself, whoever you are. My policy is that if you are nice to me, I will be nice to you, regardless of sexual orientation. It shouldn't matter! We're just girls talking to girls about girls who like girls. And guys!

    I've taken the pledge to be Straight But Not Narrow because it doesn't matter whether someone is gay, lesbian, bisexual, or anything. In love, there is no right or wrong, all is fair in love and war. A person cannot be considered good or bad by their sexuality, but by their attitude, which means a straight person can be considered bad. Why hate on someone who you consider different? When in reality, we are all the same, simplifying it out, we are all...human. Though, the inhumane thing to do would be to pick on another person because of their sexuality. As the years come, I am sure more people will support homosexuality and bisexuality through organizations like Straight But Not Narrow.

    I've taken the pledge to be straight but not narrow because I couldn't imagine if someone told me that I didn't have the right to love and be loved, everyone has the right to love and give love to whomever they want no matter what gender. Love shouldn't just be limited to between a woman and man love is shared between two people whether it is a man & woman, two men, or two women. We need to forget labels and just focus on the important thing and that is these people have found love. I have four wonderful gay friends that treat me better than my family in fact they treat me like family and consider me to be family and I consider them to be family as well. In high school I was called a lesbian, dyke, and everything in between so I know how it feels to be persecuted for my sexuality and couldn't imagine people being treated that badly.
