PUNK’D To Return To MTV With Ashton Kutcher

After speculation for the past year and all the rumors flying everywhere that MTV was going to revive their hit show Punk'd, we thought we would never see they day, but alas! It's officially true! Punk'd will be returning to MTV in 2012!

The rumors all started last year with Justin Bieber and him reviving the prank show, but nothing was ever confirmed. Then again back in August, Access Hollywood reported that Bieber pranked Taylor Swift. We then learned that there would not be one host, but various celebrities pranking their celebrity friends.

MTV has confirmed today that “Punk’d” will officially return to its lineup in 2012. Although, Ashton Kutcher will not return to host the show, he will officially be on board as executive producer again.

MTV stated that they will officially announce the host(s) of the new “Punk’d” during their New Year’s Eve special, which is scheduled to be hosted by Tyler Posey and Demi Lovato.
