‘The Hunger Games’ Break Box Office Record
We can't say we're really surprised since we saw this coming.
The Hunger Games opened to the third biggest opening of all time bringing in over $155 million in the United States alone. The movie is only behind "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2" and "The Dark Knight."
The movie did a lot better than all the Twilight franchise movie openings in the past, but that might change come November when Breaking Dawn Part 2 opens in theaters.
The Hunger Games made $19.7 million in just midnight showings followed by over $68 million on Friday alone! Did you get a chance to watch the movie?
