Cody Simpson fans rejoice because his new album ‘Paradise’ is now on music stands!
With the release of Cody’s brand new album what better way to celebrate than with a Q&A with the Aussie hottie? Check out our interview with Cody below.
You have been touring with the guys from Big Time Rush, how has that experience been? Any chances of a future collaboration with the guys? It was great touring with those guys. I really enjoyed the opportunity to play in front of large crowds all summer with them. they are also great writers and we may work on a few songs together, you never know.
You have this great movie coming out entitled Finding Cody, what’s the movie about? The movie was a sort of choose your own adventure film we did with YouTube and The Warner Sound. I am always looking for cool new ways to connect and entertain my fans. This seemed like a great way to do so. It takes two “fans” on an adventure to try and sneak backstage at one of my shows. It was a lot of fun to shoot.
Will we be seeing you in the big or small screen anytime soon? I’ve done some TV stuff and really enjoyed it. I would love to act in the future but right now I am focused on my music.
Your new album Paradise was just released, is it similar to what we heard in Preview to Paradise? Yes, the idea of the Preview was to provide a glimpse, a taste of what the album had in store. I think we chose a good selection to show what the whole album would sound like.
Which is your favorite track off of the album? That’s impossible to say, I love them all. Each one represents and means something different to me.
What is your Paradise? Gold Coast, Australia. Home is my Paradise.
You will be touring with Justin very soon and in Europe, how does that feel? What are you looking most to? The Justin tour has been awesome, I’m having a great time entertaining his fans. Europe should be an incredible experience too, I’ve never been and I’ve always been in love with the different cultures and foods plus I heard the girls have sexy accents.
Will we see a lot of shenanigans with you and the Biebs? Probably, JB loves to have a good time. He’s a great mate and I am thankful for his support. He’ll probably prank me though.
Who would you love to tour with in the future? I really want to get to the point of doing my own arena tour, that’s my goal right now. I’m a fan of a lot of people out there though, so you never know.
Do you ever get nervous before a show? Sometimes I do, I think that’s healthy. It means I want to kill it and I care about putting on a great show for the fans.
You have a great fan base, almost like a cult following, what do you want to say to them? I love you and thanks for making an Aussie kids dream come true. I will never let you guys down.
