EXCLUSIVE! Get To Know Skyler Stonestreet In Q&A

If you love music then do we have a treat for you! We got the chance to talk to pop singer Skyler Stonestreet, whose new song 'A Little Taste' has been featured on ABC's Sunday Promo for "Once Upon A Time," "Revenge," and "666 Park Avenue" and has worked with Jacques brautbar and he produced one of her singles. Check out what Stonerstreet had to say to correspondent Eddie below.

First off, congrats on having "A Little Taste" featured on ABC's promo, how does that feel? It is really exciting to actually see it air because the promo itself features "taste the vengeance' and such for each show and it goes with the song. I was very excited to see it air.

I gotta say, I am in LOVE with "A Little Taste," what inspired you to go and write the song? Mainly on people who might be in certain situations that might not be the right ones for them and I can relate to that in a certain way. There was someone in my life and that probably wasn't the best idea, but there's something that draws you to that person and you can't really resist them so its mainly on the mesmerizing effect that they have.

You also have a great song entitled, Polaroid, what was the inspiration behind that? I was at a musical festival, it was one of the best moments of my life, but we had taken lots of photos with a polaroid camera there and that whole experience with m friends there is what really inspired me to write the song. It's mainly on just keeping the memories like freezing them, if you will.

Polaroid actually went on to sponsor the official video for the song and you were also able to promote their new Polaroid cameras, how was that whole experience? It was so much fun! The video itself was a blast to make and we even made a dress made out of Polaroids which was a very big task that we designed. I like to be a big part of the creative process for all of my videos and music and I thought it would be a great idea to make a dress out of Polaroids. Which was a lot harder that you think. It was amazing being part of their re-launch because I grew up using Polaroid cameras and it was so exciting for me because I love the whole idea of Polaroid cameras.

The dress seemed very complex in the video, were you able to move freely while filming? Surprisingly I was able to move a lot, but I obviously couldn't run a marathon with it [laughs]. But I was able to dance in it, which was good.

For those who don't know your music, how would you describe it? I would say it's pop, but its not totally straight forward. I like to leave the listener with their own imagination to make it their own story as well and not just leave them with what I want them to think. I like the imagination I leave, even though I write on personal experiences.

I'm excited to hear new music, when can we expect new music? Very soon actually! I have an EP that I am going to release that we're putting final touches on everything, but very very soon. I'm excited.

I loved your sense of style in "A Little Taste," how would your describe your unique sense of style? I wear different things all the time. Whether its edgy or something different I always wear something that stands out to me like bright colors, a lot of sparkles, mainly anything that's different and speaks out to me. I really don't care what kind of style it is. A lot of it though is vintage and retro, but with a modern twist to it.
